Application from eligible candidates are invited in order to prepare a panel of teachers in different subject to be engaged on guest faculty/part time contractual basis in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas of Nabarangpur District against leave vacancy / clear vacancy / anticipated vacancy during the academic year 2026-27 for the post of PGT (Physics /Chemistry /Biology /Mathematics /English/Economics/Computer Science) & TGT (Odia /English / Mathematics/ Science/ Social Science/ Hindi/Sanskrit).

Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) provides free quality education to the students in CBSE affiliated Schools, especially from semi-urban and rural areas, across the state. The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya aims to promote the rural talents by inculcating the 21st century learning skills through a holistic and integral approach for their physical and aesthetic development, apart from academic fineness. This co-ed School is established at the Block Headquarter in all the 314 Blocks of Odisha, at Secondary and Senior Secondary level from Classes VI to XII. The Adarsha Vidyalayas will play a key role in spreading modern education in remote parts in the State, while integrating the students of small towns and villages with mainstream education.

Subjects have vacancies:

  • PGT : Physics /Chemistry /Biology /Mathematics /English/Economics/Computer Science
  • TGT: Odia /English / Mathematics/ Science/ Social Science/ Hindi/Sanskrit

Essential Qualification:

PGTs:

  • Two years integrated post graduate course with atleast 50% mark in aggregate. (45% for SC/ST/PH candidate) in any of the following subjects.
    OR
    Master degree from recognized university with atleast 50% marks in aggregate.(45% for SC/ST/PH candidate) in any of the following subjects.
    AND
  • Bachelor degree in education (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized university.

TGTs:

  • Four years integrated Degree course in the concerned subject from any institution recognized by NCTE with atleast 50% mark in aggregate. (45% for SC/ST/PH candidate).
    OR
    Bachelor degree in Arts/ Science in the concerned subject with 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/ SEBC candidate) along with degree in bachelor in Education / 3 years integrated B.A B.Ed (a course prescribed by NCTE) with 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/ SEBC candidate) from an institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized university.
  • Proficiency in teaching both in Odia and English medium.

Monthly Honorarium:

  • PGT(All Subjects): Rs. 25,000 (Normal)/ Rs. 30,000 (Hard Station)
  • TGT(All Subjects): Rs. 20,000 (Normal) / Rs. 25,000 (Hard Station)
